Today, I'm featuring Johnson's Head-to-Toe Baby Wash that I've found works on removing foundation, eye makeup - even stubborn mascara! It's gentle on my skin and doesn't strip away moisture from my skin. It doesn't have anything targeted to treat acne, but that's okay - I simply dissolve 2 tablets of aspirin and use that as an exfoliator that also treats acne.

I do want to compare ingredients though. Below are the ingredients for the baby wash:
Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, PEG-150 Distearate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Sodium Chloride, Polyquaternium-10, Fragrance, Quaternium-15, Citric Acid
And now, below are the ingredients for the Purpose cleanser:
Water , PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate , Sodium Laureth Sulfate , Cocamidopropyl Betaine , PEG-150 Distearate , Sodium Lauroampho PG-Acetate Phosphate , Fragrance , Quaternium-15 , Tetrasodium EDTASo, to my untrained alchemist mind, these are almost the same thing! I forgot if I mentioned the ingredients in my Purpose review, but you can read my thoughts on the Purpose cleanser here.

aspirin treats acne?? Do you think Alka-Seltzer has any cosmetic benefits? I read an article about it unclogging toilets so I bought a box of it and it didn't work. But if aspirin can treat acne, maybe Alka-Seltzer will have some use too.
I can provide plenty of input on the ingredients- I love analyzing ingredients! The baby wash doesn't have phosphates. Phosphates are bad for the environment as in they cause algal blooms and depending on what it gets chemically bonded to, can lower the pH as in increase acidity. The baby wash also has sodium chloride, which is essentially table salt...the all purpose cleaner doesn't...I would not be surprised if you could create your own cleanser with water, table salt and baking soda/ powder plus lavendar fragrance.
I am surprised they allow phosphates in these cleaners; also that you have been using them without rashes

I dunno if phosphates cause rashes... maybe if you use them alone they will..?? I'm thinking of using all natural lemon juice and baking soda to clean my counters and everything.
I dunno if Alka-Seltzer has any skincare benefits. It would be good to find out. But I heard about aspirin being good for skincare from Michelle Phan's video on aspirin mask. I googled a bit more and found more articles that support her claims. You can google it too.
