Scam? Legit? Anyone got an invite from PureBloggers *dot* com?

Here is the email I got from them:

Hello, someone liked your blog at http://kusanagigirlbeautyblog.blogspot.com and sent you an invitation to http://purebloggers.com . Pure Bloggers is a social-network for bloggers and companies. Need more traffic? Want to sell Bannerspace or links? Offer services at your blog? Want to get more readers? Or just share experiences with other bloggers? Get in touch with 1000s of Companies and Bloggers! http://purebloggers.com is the right place for you. Sign up for free now and join the biggest blogger and companies network!

I've gone to the site and there is virtually NO information about this blogger networking company.

Secondly, in order to get more information, you will need to sign up to get in.  In this day an age everybody had better be careful about just signing up to anywhere.

To top it off, if you Google Purebloggers(dot)com + review, the top three hits show plenty o' skepticism toward this site.

How scary!!

I really hate receiving phishy emails.

I remember when some of the youtube "gurus" were falling for stuff like this and kept getting their channels hacked. I seriously don't understand how people can fall for it.

Ditto! It's just too dangerous to trust anything anymore.
